Tee Time At Lake Kiowa

The eighteen hole championship golf course is the main attraction of Lake Kiowa, and provides a rewarding experience for all golfers. Built by Leon Howard in 1969, this private course has decades of history and experience and is open year round for even the most dedicated golfers.

Featuring three sets of tees ranging from 6,605 yards at the championship tees to 5,085 from the forward tees, the course is easy enough for beginners but presents a challenge for more experienced players.

Lake Kiowa Property Owners Association

Lake Kiowa is a gated community with a recreational lake, an 18-hole golf course, and community center with dining and tavern facilities. All facilities are for the use of members only and all residents are members. There are many active organizations and other recreational facilities to serve the various interests of residents.

A full-time Security Department provides the community 24-hour services. They man the gated front entrance, patrol the lake and grounds, enforce LKPOA rules, provide animal control, and furnish a variety of services to individual residents and the association.

A full-time Maintenance Department maintains the association's roads, common property, facilities and equipment. Fire and emergency medical assistance is provided by the Lake Kiowa Volunteer Fire Department.
