Eager to try an eighteen hole championship golf course? Lake Kiowa's main attraction provides all golfers with a very rewarding experience. Featuring three sets of tees ranging from 6,605 yards at the championship tees to 5,085 from the forward tees, the course is easy enough for beginners but presents a challenge for more experienced players.
This wonderful private golf course, built in 1969 by Leon Howard, has decades of history and experience. Plus its open year-round for even the most dedicated of golfers.
Did you know that the in-house golf pro is available to help at any time, and the pro shop is available for all your golfing needs? The Pro Shop across from the Lodge is the center for golfing activities at Lake Kiowa with the regulation of all play on the course. This includes tee time reservations, running tournaments, golf cart rentals, collection of guest fees and range token sales for the Property Owners Association. Our PGA pro Brown McCrory can also provide you with golf lessons and clinics for any members or their guests, and retail sales or special orders of golf equipment and clothing for any golfer's needs.
The course is equipped with USGA regulation greens and a completely automatic sprinkler system using our very own Lake Kiowa water. A full-time greens superintendent and grounds keeping crew maintain the course.
Convenience is very important to our members and guests alike here at Lake Kiowa. Association fees cover all ground fees, which means members can golf every day at no extra cost. Activities are also very abundant here, including the Men's and Women's Golf Associations. These associations invite membership for competing tournaments and provide entertainment, as well as contribute toward beautifying the golf course.
